HISTORY
Started as a kebab shop in Okinawa City
The birth of Eli Sauce started as a kebab shop in Okinawa City.
In 2016, my wife and I, both Iranians, came to Okinawa on a trip and loved the climate, lifestyle, and culture. However, there were no kebab restaurants in Okinawa at the time, so we started KUIKO KEBABU (Quick Kebab), saying “If there are none, we have to make them”.
Since its establishment in 2017, the original all-purpose sauce that goes well with the dish has attracted many people, including regular customers. We have had many requests to buy the sauce, and many customers have come from far away to visit our store for the sauce.
We want many people to enjoy this sauce.
With this in mind, we decided to build our original sauce factory.
Constructed a sauce factory in Ginoza Village
The sauce factory started on a small southern island in Japan, a foreign land.
Today, the original Eli Sauce is available in many supermarkets,
including all Costco branches in Japan, and thanks to our efforts, our fans within the prefecture, in Japan, and abroad are growing.
Still, the challenge continues.
Our dream is that someday all Japanese households will have “Eli Sauce” in their refrigerators.
To realize this goal, we will continue to do our best for everyone who loves Eli Sauce.

“Eli SAUCE”?
Origin of ELI SAUCE
There is a very special story behind the name of Eli Sauce. The sauce is named after “Eli,” the beloved wife and business partner of owner Michael. Eli is also featured on the packaging as an advertisement for this sauce.
This special sauce was created at KUIKO KEBABU, a kebab shop in Okinawa City that the two started. Since then, Eli Sauce has become a favorite of many customers and is now available in numerous supermarkets in Japan. The name symbolizes more than just a sauce, but their love, passion, and dreams.
